Sharon D. Eisman
I am inspired by much that surrounds me including: nature, words, experiences, color and shape, as well as marks and textures created by a variety of tools, mediums, and surfaces both traditional and unique. I enjoy the process of creating work that incorporates my varied art background and the opportunity to express that which inspires me through the calligraphic stroke, the drawn or painted image, or the melding of mediums.
As a multifarious artist, I will always experiment with traditional and non-traditional lettering, drawing and painting materials, exploring an unlimited variety of mark-making tools, mediums, and styles, as each provides unique possibilities in calligraphic (both traditional and abstract), painting, drawing and mixed media work. All an exciting addition to my long history of fine pen work, detailed drawing and painting.
